Permanent RGB Lights
How permanent is "permanent", how long do they last?
Rated for 50,000 hours, which translates to 17-23 years of daily usage.
However this does not mean they stop functioning after 20 years, they only begin to lose their brightness.
Can I customize colours and animations?
This is a fully programmable system, you can customize any colour pattern you want, deactivate specific pixels for spaced lighting, and more. There are also pre-programmed themes for most holidays and events to choose from, as you can see in the photos to the left.
If one light goes out, do they all go out?
No, unlike common consumer-grade permanent lights from Amazon and the like, our system is designed to specifically prevent that from happening.
Am I able to control the lights with an Android device?
Yes, our controller app is available for Android and Apple phones and tablets
Can these be installed in the winter?
Yes, however:
Installs in temperatures below 10°C are not advised and also not covered by our service warranty.
There are 2 reasons for this. First is the bonding agent our channels use cannot completely adhere below that temperature. Consequently, improper adhesion allows for thermal expansion and contraction to distort the tracking. While this is a purely cosmetic, it can be entirely avoided with installs outside of the winter month.
